K-12 PUBLIC SCHOOLS OUTSIDE THE SEATTLE AREA

Due to the large number of requests Sherman Alexie receives to speak at public middle and high schools across the US and Canada, and given the limited amount of time he has to travel and speak outside of his community, in fairness to all he is not able to consider any requests to visit schools outside of the Seattle area. 

We are currently exploring ways in which Sherman can participate in your classroom from a distance, such as Internet chats and video conferencing - via the Internet and via conference rooms with distance learning facilities.

If your classroom has access to facilities that allow for Internet meetings or chats or if you are near a facility that you can use for distance learning, you are welcome to contact us to ask about these possibilities at fallsapartproductions@gmail.com.  But, please note that due to the large number of inquires received we may not be able to get back to you in a timely manner and we are not able to respond to all requests.

K-12 PUBLIC SCHOOLS WITHIN THE SEATTLE AREA

It is important for Sherman to give back to his local community so he can consider a limited number of requests each year to visit public schools in the Seattle area. He does not do school-wide speaking events, but does consider classroom visits.   

If you are a public high school or middle school in the Seattle area, you can send your request to fallsapartproductions@gmail.com.  But, please note that due to the large number of inquires received we may not be able to get back to you in a timely manner and we are not able to respond to all requests.
