Sherman, I understand you are clean and sober. That is something you can and should be proud of.I hope I did not sin by ending a sentence with a preposition or some such transgression.Mea culpa... in any case I want to commend you for good work. You are a poet in an age where poetry has lost some of its allure unless it is stuck in a rap song. But I am one track minded today. Why no entries here since august? I suppose the muse is a fickle mistress at times.I really do want to share with you that being sober and in AA has given my life direction and purpose especially since I was forced to retire. Life is good and I am grateful to be a part of it.Thank you for your eloquent voice. The song and video were good as well.

Yes, McLennan was great. He shined in the Go-Betweens, but I think he nova-ed with his solo projects, particularly on Horsebreaker Star, where every song was perfect. I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite from that album. I finally managed to see him perform with the Go-Betweens about a month before he died. Thanks for posting this

A great track and I love the eerie 'arthouse' style video! You really do have impeccable taste in music - thanks for all the excellent links you've placed on the website! Looking forward to the new book in October.
